Molly Keating Named Defensive Player of the Week

MACON, GA -

Florida Atlantic University's Molly Keating has been named the Trans America Athletic Conference Defensive Player-of-the-Week. The freshman goalkeeper recorded consecutive shutouts on the road in FAU's 2-0 victory over Troy State last Friday and 6-0 victory over Mercer on Sunday. It was the first time in FAU's history the team has recorded back-to-back shutouts on the road.

Keating is second in the TAAC with a 1.27 goals against average. Her two shutouts last week gives her a new FAU record of five for the season. The previous mark was 4.5, set by Kristen Fine in 1995.
