Florida Atlantic University's Kristen Jordan won the C.L. Varner Invitational Sunday in Winter Park, FL by defeating Barry's Victoria Courmes 6-1, 6-3. The tournament was the first action of the season for the FAU women's tennis team.
Jordan won all four of her matches over the weekend in straight sets, dropping just six games in eight sets. Going back to the end of last season, the senior has won 18 consecutive matches.
