Cindy Crosby joined the Florida Atlantic University Student-Athlete Center for Academic Excellence in April of 2016 primarily serving as a Learning Specialist. Her primary role is to assist student-athletes with learning disabilities by implementing individualized learning plans and strategies to meet their academic needs. In the fall of 2022, she added athletic academic counselor responsibilities to her resume and worked directly with the spirit team.
Crosby also helps in the planning and execution of the Athletic Department's summer bridge program, an initiative that supports the transition of all incoming student-athletes. Prior to FAU, she served as an organizational specialist at Kent State University for the football program. In this role, she implemented weekly strategies for student-athlete academic success.
A member of the National Association of Academic Advisors for Athletics, Crosby holds a bachelor's degree from East Stroudsburg University. She was an eight-time letterwinner in the sports of cross country and track and field, and participated in the NCAA Cross Country Championships in her senior season.
Crosby and her husband Devin have two daughters, Reese and Reagan. They reside in Boca Raton, Florida.
