Taylor Ashley came to Florida Atlantic in December of 2019 as the director of human resources for athletics. Ashley brings a decade of experience to the Owls both on the professional and collegiate levels.

Most recently, Ashley served as an executive assistant for Southern Methodist University with the focus on football recruiting and operations. She assisted and coordinated game day operations and facilitated recruiting activity during her time on the SMU Hilltop. Ashley also has worked in stadium operations for Major League Soccer (MLS) and the Houston Dynamo at BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston, Texas. Her experiences include time with University of Houston Athletics, Rice University Athletics, the Houston Astros (MLB) and the Texas Rangers (MLB). Ashley is a native of Houston.

Ashley is a May 2015 graduate of the University of Oklahoma where she earned a bachelor’s of journalism and public relations degree, and a bachelor's of nonprofit organizational studies degree. While at Oklahoma, Ashley assisted in the recruiting and game day operations for the Sooners’ football team. In May of 2018, she completed her master’s of science and education in sport administration from the University of Miami.
