Served as a graduate assistant, from May of 2019 through December 2020, at the University of South Carolina where he worked under the direction of Head Strength Coach Paul Jackson.
Was responsible for the day-to-day accountability of the players, Catapult analytics and assisted with daily weight room training sessions and on-field sprinting and conditioning sessions.
At Tennessee Martin
Began seeking his master’s degree at the University of Tennessee-Martin from August of 2018-May of 2019.
Enforced and supplied proper food and nutritional advice for baseball and football teams.
Was part of development of multiple football players and helped to assist with Pro Day operations.
At Middle Tennessee
Served one year as the assistant strength and conditioning coach for the Blue Raiders
Focused attention with the men’s and women’s tennis teams as their head strength coach
Instructed football players how to perform Olympic lift variations, strength movements, sprint mechanics, mobility exercises and was responsible for player body weights and nutritional advice.
At South Carolina
Began his strength and conditioning career as an intern, a role he served from August of 2016 through May of 2017.
Was responsible for the daily sanitation and organization of the weight room.
Proper equipment set up pre-practice and break down for athletic training.
Helped enforce technique and direction of workouts for football and track teams.
Received experience training athletes in their in-season, off-season, pre-season and bowl season.
Playing Career
Served as the captain for the Coastal Carolina Rugby team from 2014-16.
Earned NCAA DII Honorable Mention honors in 2015.
Personal Education: Earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Sports Science in December of 2016; Obtained his Master’s of Science degree in Family and Consumer Science in December 2020 Certifications: Certified in basic life support, AED, First Aid and is a certified strength and conditioning coach (CSCS) and is a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCa)
