Cameron Blocker rejoined Florida Atlantic University as an assistant equipment director in July 2019. He specifically works with the football program.
Prior to returning to FAU, Blocker served as an assistant equipment manager at IMG Academy. He assisted in managing all Under Armor gear and uniforms to over 1,200 student-athletes and performed daily laundry for sports teams, among other duties.
Following graduation, Blocker worked as an equipment intern at FAU for the football and men’s tennis programs. He supervised 11 student managers, organized and packed all players and coaches gear for home and away football games, assisted with all aspects of football operations and oversaw the ordering, inventory and distribution of men’s tennis gear.
While a student at FAU, Blocker was a student equipment manager for football for three seasons and student manager for baseball for a year. During this time, he also worked as an equipment assistant, where he assisted with laundry and locker room set up and cleanup for several sport programs.
Blocker is also an FAU alumnus and received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in May 2018.
