This Week in Paradise, April 6

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Spring sports continue at Florida Atlantic Athletics with most teams traveling this weekend. Beach volleyball will remain in Paradise and will serve as the host for the 2026 Capri Classic.

The tournament will feature the Owls, North Florida, Jacksonville, Stephen F. Austin and Florida Gulf Coast. It will also be an opportunity to honor the memory of Capri Grotowski, the team's former coach and 2025 FAU Hall of Fame inductee.

Friday's matches against North Florida and Jacksonville will be broadcast on ESPN+. It will mark the first time Florida Atlantic beach volleyball will broadcast from home, as well as the first CUSA regular season matches broadcast through ESPN+.
