Personal Education: Obtained a Kinesiology degree in Exercise and Nutrition science with a concentration in strength and conditioning from the University of Montevallo. He obtained his Master’s degree, in 2023, from the University of Cincinnati in Athletic Training.
The former four-year Montevallo letterwinner, in men’s soccer, graduated Magna Cum Laude and was a GSC Academic Honor Roll honoree in 2018, 2019 and 2020. He earned the Graduate Incentive Award in 2021 and the James K. and Pat Ellis Student-Athletic Trainer Scholarship in 2022. Matabosch Montobbio is fluent in Catalan, Spanish, English and Portuguese. He also served in Catalonia, Spain as a Boy Scout Leader AEiG Mare de De’u de Nu’ria from September 2016 through July of 2017 and was a Scout volunteer for Kuwonku Project, which helped with the different reformation activities in the Kuwonku village in Gambia, Africa in July of 2016.
