Brandon Fresina joined the Florida Atlantic University sports medicine staff in June 2019. He serves as an athletic training fellow for the baseball and spirit teams.
Prior to FAU, Fresina served as a graduate assistant for the Mississippi State University baseball team. For two seasons, Fresina worked alongside a certified staff athletic trainer and coordinated treatment and rehabilitation plans for injured student-athletes, among other duties. During his time at Mississippi State, the Bulldogs made two trips to the College World Series.
Before his time in Starkville, Mississippi, Fresina served as an athletic training student at LSU for the football, baseball and men’s golf programs. While in Baton Rouge, Fresina worked a full-year clinical rotation at Central High School, where he was responsible for the daily injury reports sent to coaches and coordinated facility preparations for proper equipment used for practices and games. He also implemented a preseason screening for pitchers on the baseball team.
Fresina graduated from LSU with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training in May 2017. He recently obtained his Master of Science in Sport Administration from Mississippi State in May 2019.
A Board Certified and Florida Licensed Athletic Trainer, Fresina is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association. He is also First Aid and CPR certified by the American Red Cross.
