Michael Sole joined Florida Atlantic University's athletic training staff in August 2014. Sole is a current FAU student, pursing a master's degree in exercise science and health promotion. Prior to coming to FAU, Sole worked as an intern with Rowan University's athletic training department. He assisted with men's soccer, swimming and diving, and football.
While pursuing his bachelor's degree at Rowan, Sole was an athletic training intern for the New York Yankees Single A minor league affiliate. There he facilitated evaluations, rehabilitation, and treatment of all of the players.
Sole graduated from Rowan in May 2014 with a bachelor's degree in athletic training. During his time at Rowan, he was a member of the Sigma Alpha Lambda Honor Society and made the university's Dean's List from 2010-12. Sole is currently a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association and EATA/ATSNJ. He is HIPPA certified and certified in CPR and first aid by the American Red Cross.
Sole is originally from Denville, New Jersey.
