Carrie Terrill joined Florida Atlantic University in the spring of 2007 as an assistant soccer coach. Before joining the Owls, she was living in Charleston, SC where she acted as the Girls[apos] Director of Coaching for the Charleston United Soccer Club.
Prior to the Charleston United she served as an assistant with the University of Toledo and three years before that at Charleston Southern University. She has been a state staff coach for the Olympic Development Program for five years in South Carolina as well in Ohio.
Terrill has also been involved with coaching club teams for the past seven years. She holds both an NSCAA Premier Diploma and an NSCAA Goalkeeping I Diploma.
As a student-athlete, Terrill played for UNC-Charlotte where she earned Conference USA All-Freshman Team honors and twice earned Conference USA All-Conference honors before transferring to Charleston Southern. As a Buccaneer, she was named Big South Player of the Year and a member of the All-Conference team. Terrill also was named her team[apos]s Most Valuable Attacking Player.
Terrill also played professionally for three years in the W-League with the Charlotte Speed.
During her prep career, her accomplishments have allowed her to remain as one of the leading scorers in North Carolina history. She also played on the North Carolina State Team from 1995-1997 and was selected to the Region III Team in 1997.
Terrill is originally from Charlotte, NC and holds a B.S. degree in Psychology from Charleston Southern.
