Hometown: Wellington, Fla. attended American Heritage-Delray and played for Doug Socha.
Education: Earned a B.S. degree in economics from Florida Atlantic ‘2016 and a Master’s degree with an emphasis in Sports Management from LSU in August of 2023.
- Joined the staff in February of 2023 as a student-athlete services coordinator and athletic academic advisor
- Primary sports include volleyball and women’s golf while also handling the human resources duties, student-athlete development and the department’s textbook program
- While continuing his education, Nasiff served two stints with the facilities and operations department as a facilities and operations assistant, the second from August of 2019 through January of 2023 and the first from June 2016 through April of 2017
- Held title role and oversight of baseball for the 2021 season
- Worked with all sports as well as the day-to-day facility needs
- Served as a director of operations at Rebound Retreat from May of 2017 through July of 2019
- In the first nine months of service was promoted three times
- The facility concentrated on holistic wellness and outdoor adventure therapy while Nasiff’s responsibility was oversight of more than 10 employees, the scheduling of vendor weekly and monthly maintenance and services, oversight of residence and office daily operations as well as teaching life skills to clients who ranged in age between 17-30
- Following his playing career, Nasiff worked as a student assistant from August of 2013 through May of 2016
- Coordinated and set-up events within the athletic facilities purview both sport and non-sporting
- Assisted with the day-to-day maintenance of 13 athletic facilities
- Initially came to Florida Atlantic as a part of the final recruiting class under the direction of legendary coach Howard Schnellenberger
- Member of Conference USA’s Commissioner’s Honor Roll (3.0+ GPA) in the Fall of 2014 and 2015 as well as the Spring of 2016
- Career was cut short due to injury, and he then turned attention towards career by working with the athletic facilities office
