Junior (2002-03): A member of the 200 free and 400 medley relay teams that broke school records at the NIC Championships … earned a 2nd place finish at the NIC Championships in the 200 back with a time of 1:47.02 which was an NCAA consideration time … also finished 10th in the 100 back (50.32).
At Evansville (2000-02): Attended the University of Evansville where he swam for Clark Campbell … was a member of three relay teams that set school records … recognized on the all-conference team his two season at Evansville … named MVP his sophomore year.
High School: Coached by Wayne Ridden at Matizburg College … holds seven school records and participated on three junior South African teams.
Personal: Business management major … born on April 2, 1981 in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa … son of Keith and Marlene Hobson.
