Freshman (2004-05): Swam season-bests in the 100 and 200 breast and 200 IM at the Sun Belt Championships ... advanced to the finals of all three events with times of 59.65 and 2:09.26 in the breaststroke events and a time of 1:58.30 in the 200 IM.
High School: Attended Lake Mary High School where he swam for Fred Tyler ... started swimming his sophomore year of high school and closed out his career as a two-time All-Conference member and reached the finals of the state meet his last two years ... also played water polo where he earned All-Conference recognition...four years on honor roll.
