People of Influence (why?): My old team mate Elijah Edwards. When I first met him he was living a really tough life and barely knew anything about cheerleading. Over the course of four years I watched him go from having nothing to his name to making a living for himself and being able to go to college. Along with making a living for himself, he also became one of the most skilled cheerleaders I know in a very short amount of time. He taught me that there is no excuse as to why you can't live your dreams and I wouldn't be the person I am today if it weren't for him.

Favorite thing about FAU Cheer: I love how our team is close and how we are all there for each other. It has definitely made my first year in college less scary knowing I have a group of people I can depend on! Plus everyone on the team is so much fun to be around, I love it.
