Florida Atlantic softball Head Coach Jordan Clark announced the addition of Cara Bohner to serve as a graduate assistant for the 2027 season.Â

Bohner begins her coaching career in Paradise after concluding her collegiate playing at Penn State.
She enjoyed a successful four-year career across Towson and Penn State, most recently playing 42 games and making 32 starts for the Nittany Lions in 2026.

Throughout her career, she split time between right field and second base, batting .281 and totaling 148 hits, with 47 of them good for extra bases. She recorded 94 RBI and drew 61 walks.

Bohner now joins a successful Owls coaching staff that has produced four consecutive 30+ win seasons, two American Conference regular season titles, and two American Coaching Staff of the Year awards.
