At FAU
- Joined the Florida Atlantic University athletic academic staff in August 2019 as an assistant academic counselor
- Promoted to an athletic academic counselor in a full-time capacity in the fall of 2021, working with football and women’s tennis
- A four-year member of the FAU men’s cross country team, serving three seasons as the team captain
- Four-time Conference USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll recipient
- Beneficiary of the Rotary Club of the Palm Beaches leadership scholarship
- Received the C-USA Fall Spirit of Service Award, one of 14 in the conference to earn the honor
- Left FAU with the ninth fastest outdoor 5000 meter time and twelfth best 3000 meter mark in program history
- Served as the vice president of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee during his senior year, working with the executive board to coordinate several events around community service, fundraising and life skillsÂ
- A double FAU alumnus of FAU, Marting received his Bachelor of Business Administration Management and Leadership in May 2019
- Obtained a Master of Business Administration in April 2021 from FAU
