Kylie Magar joined the Florida Atlantic University communications team in October 2018 as an assistant director. In December of 2021, following three years of proving her skills, she was elevated to Director of Communications. Magar works primarily with men's soccer, women's basketball and beach volleyball.

Prior to arriving to FAU, Magar held marketing and communications roles at U.S. Masters Swimming, Seattle Thunderbirds Hockey Club and Fox Sports University. In 2016, Magar wrote for Blacktoptv.com as a contributing sports writer, covering the Seattle Pro-Am Basketball league.

While a student at the University of Missouri, Magar served three years on Tiger’s Lair, the official student cheering section for Mizzou football, monitoring fan engagement and experience during home games. With Mizzou athletics, Magar assisted the marketing team during home baseball games.

Magar graduated from the Missouri School of Journalism with a Bachelor of Journalism in May 2018. The Seattle native graduated from the well-renowned MBA Sport Management program at FAU in August 2021.
