Photo Gallery Junior (2014-15): Appeared in 28 games, provided depth and perimeter shooting throughout the season...scored a season-high 11 points in game at UAB (1/8/15)...put up seven points and five rebounds in an overtime loss to Western Kentucky (1/15/15).
Sophomore (2013-14): Played in 19 games on the year, scored 11 points and grabbed five rebounds in season opener vs. Ave Maria (11/8/13)...had eight points and four rebounds in win over UCF (12/3/13)...scored 11 points and had five rebounds in start vs. Warner (1/1/14).
Freshman (2012-13): Appeared in eight games on the year, hit a pair of free throws, had a steal and grabbed a rebound vs. Warner (12/9/12)....also scored a point vs. Dayton (12/15/12)...pulled down a rebound vs. Arkansas State (1/26/13)...had a steal vs. FIU (3/2/13).
Prep:Averaged 13.7 points and 12.0 rebounds as junior at Hudson Falls (NY) HS while playing for O.J. Lescaver. He had 31 points and 20 rebounds in his best game that season. He returned to Spain for his senior year where he averaged 21.1 points, 9.2 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game.
Personal: Son of Ana Carmen Abecia and Jose Javier Lacunza. Enjoys playing soccer...majoring in international business.
