Todd Soukup joined the Florida Atlantic University football staff in the fall of 2013 as a recruiting and operations intern. He later added the responsibilities of assistant to the director of player personnel to his list of day-to-day responsibilities and in May of 2015 he was elevated to associate director of player personnel.
In that role, Soukup assists with all organizational aspects of the recruiting process. He also helps to coordinate the program's recruiting efforts which have enabled the staff to build back-to-back classes that rank the highest in program history. The 2015 class featured four members of the Conference USA's All-Freshmen team, including Azeez Al-Shaair, who was named by two organizations as a Freshman All-American. Along with his recruiting and operational responsibilities, Soukup manages the team's social media account. Finally, he assists with camp and clinic efforts.
Prior to FAU, Soukup worked for nearly two years with the Central Palm Beach county Chamber of Commerce, where he was a member account representative.
Soukup received his undergraduate degree in social science with a minor in political science and sociology from Florida Atlantic in 2010. He then continued his education at FAU earning a MBA degree with an emphasis in sports management in 2015. While seeking his degree, Soukup interned with the Miami Dolphins in 2013 as a member of their operations staff.
