Professional Playing Career
A member of the Miami Dolphins from 1991 to 1993…was on the team that won the FAC East in 1992…played for Don Shula…was with the Cleveland Browns mini-camp in 1994…played two seasons (1995-96 for Scottish Claymores of the WFL (now called NFL Europe)…was team captain both seasons…named to the All-World League team in 1995 and led the Claymores to 1996 World Bowl Championship…with the San Francisco 49ers training camp in 1996 and the 49ers mini-camp in 1997…also participated in the Orlando Predators (Arena Football League) training camp in 1998.
Collegiate Playing Career
Played four seasons (1987-90) as a defensive back at the University of Louisville under Howard Schnellenberger…was selected team MVP his sophomore and senior seasons…named team’s most outstanding defensive back as a junior…first-team Al-South Independent his final three seasons…AP All-America honorable mention as a sophomore and junior…AP Third-Team All-America his senior year…captain of Fiesta Bowl champion team as a senior…led Louisville with 116 tackles in 1990 (85 solo)…is the U of L career leader in tackles with 488 (289 solo, 199 assists).
High School Playing Career
Was first-team All-State at DeSales High School…team finished 8-2 his senior season…earned 97 tackles (67 solo)
