At FAU
Landan Salem joined the Florida Atlantic University football staff in the spring of 2017 as the Director of Player Personnel and Pro Liaison.

At NC State/Pittsburgh
Salem came to FAU after a brief stint at North Carolina State as the Assistant Director of Player Personnel and two seasons on the Pitt football staff, where he served as the Director of Video Scouting & Summer Camp Director. He oversaw the evaluation process for the Panthers and helped facilitate the recruiting schedule with the coaching staff.

At Michigan State
Prior to the Panthers, Salem worked as a recruiting assistant at Michigan State in 2014. During his one season in East Lansing, the Spartans finished with a No. 5 national ranking following a Cotton Bowl victory over Baylor.

Additional Experience
During the 2012 and 2013 seasons, Salem worked at Illinois as a player personnel and special teams assistant. He spent the summer of 2013 gaining NFL experience as an operations intern with the Indianapolis Colts. Salem also interned with the Orlando Predators of the Arena Football League (AFL) in 2011.

Education: He is a 2014 graduate of Illinois with a bachelor's degree in agricultural finance.
