- Started the season opener at Ohio State as the 2019 starter.
- Tallied 178 passing yards on a 22-34-0 night, with one TD. Carried the ball nine times, but was charged with minus 24 yards rushing versus OSU
- Had a busy workday versus UCF with a 18-40-1 for 177 yards performance as a quarterback. Tallied 10 carries for -20 yards and attempted a punt
- Potentially played his most complete game to date in the 41-31 Ball State victory with a 33-41-0 performance for 366 yards and a program a record tying four TD passes as well as nine carries for 14 yards
- Ball State performance earned a spot on the eight-man Peyton Manning Star of the Week ballot
- Earned the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award honorable mention honor for his work against Wagner, a game that he was 25-35-0 for 379 yards and five TD passes
- Was 20-for-27 for 312 yards in the Owls victory over Charlotte, while tossing two TDs to bring his season total to 12 five games in matching his TD production for all of 2018...he was sacked three times and finished the game with minus 28 yards
- Led the Owls to a win over MT with a 15-30-0 performance for 145 yards, with one TD and he also rushed three times for 11 net yards
- Was 21-39-1 in the Marshal contest, a game that he recorded 300+ passing yards for the fourth time in 2019. He used his feet to twice find the end zone, but was also tagged with minus 47 yards primarily caused by sacks
- Started the ODU game, but was lifted after the first half of play after compiling a 17-21-1, two touchdown 208 yard performance and added two carries for six positive yards. Was not charged with a sack
- Led the Owls to a win at WKU going 18-29-0 with 208 yards and two TDs while adding three carries for minus one yard. His longest pass of the day was a 51-yard scoring strike to Willie Wright
- Turned in a 22-37-0 performance with 298 yards and one TD in the Owls 37-7 victory over FIU and added six carries for minus 12 yards
- Tallied yet another 300 plus yard game in the Owls' 40-26 victory at UTSA with a 27-41-0 passing performance for 336 yards and a score...added three carries for minus seven yards
- Led the Owls to a 34-17 win over USM to capture the C-USA Eastern Division title with an 8-19-1 passing performance for 156 yards and three scoring strikes to Harrison Bryant ... added three carries for minus three yards
- Named the C-USA Championship MVP after recording 30 yards on the ground on four carries as well as a 17-37-1 passing performance for 267 yards, including his career long 75-yard and season long pass to Deangelo Antoine
- Earned first team All-C-USA
- Named the 2019 Cheribundi Bowl Offensive MVP after a passing night of 27-37 for 306 yards and two TDs as well as 28 rushing yards on eight carries...used the night to become the program's all-time single-season passing yards leader

- Named Co-MVP of the quarterback room during spring camp
- Drew his first collegiate start at the school he transferred from Oklahoma. Was 15-26-0 for 157 yards and he added six carries for minus eight yards
- vs. Air Force he set single-game records for yards 471 and for completion percentage 83 while going 33-40-0 for three TDs while running the ball six times for minus nine yards
- Picked up his second victory under center with a 16-27-2, 171 yard, 1 TD performance versus Bethune. He added four carries for his 42 yards, his first career game with positive rushing yards
- Was 13-for-26 for 124 yards and one TD toss. Defenders grabbed three INTs. He added 10 carries for 34 yards and two punts for a total of 104 yards for an average of 52.0 yards per punt
- Drove the length of the field to lead the Owls to an opening drive TD at Middle Tennessee and was 17-for-27-1 on the night for 154 yards in the air and 72 on the ground including his first collegiate rushing TD a 45-yard scamper
- Earned his firsts collegiate C-USA win, a 52-33 decision versus ODU. Had a 21-32-0 performance for 339 yards and two scores. Added 11 carries for 34 yards and one rushing TDs. Had the team's lone punt a 53-yarder downed inside the 20
- Was 18-35 with four interceptions and a TD at Marshall. He tallied 223 passing yards nad added another 31 rushing yards on six carries booted his fourth punt of the season for a career long 63 yards, which was downed inside the 20
- Saw late game action versus LA Tech, a game he recorded six passing yards going 2 for 3 and one yard rushing on two carries
- Started in the FIU Shula Bowl XVII victory and was 6-for-10 for 90 yards and was one of three FAU quarterbacks to lead the Owls in a scoring drive
- His WKU passing resume including a 17-21-0 performance for 231 yards, but he was charged with minus 13 rushing yards, two sacks contributing to those numbers
