Began the year as the team's starting 2B, but had to reclaim his job after a slow start
Did just that beginning on April 16, when he rapped two hits off the bench at UAB
In the team's next 20 games, batted .471, 33-of-70, with at least a hit in 16 of those games, and the Owls posting a win in 13 of his 19 starts
In the midst of that, earned the May 10 C-USA Hitter of the Week award, posting a .529 average in a road series win over WKU
That weekend, had three multi-hit showings and a hit in every game to clinch FAU’s postseason berth
Batted .453 on the year against C-USA opponents, which would have led all hitters by nearly 50 points if he'd qualified
Overall, finished the year with a .375 average, highest on the Owls. Again, if he had qualified, that would have been second in C-USA
Second on the team slugging .583 and with a .441 OBP (would have ranked ninth and 10th, respectively, in the league)
All six of his home runs, and 28 of his 30 RBI, came versus C-USA pitching
Batted .430 against lefthanded pitching (best on the team), .403 with runners on base, .405 with runners in scoring position, .345 with the bases empty (also best), and .800 (4-for-5) with seven RBI with the bases loaded
Also played a near-flawless 2B, with just two errors in 117 total chances
