As a sophomore (2008): Played more positions than any other FAU player... Made starts at first base, third base, as the designated hitter and appeared twice as a pitcher late in the season... Started as the DH vs. then-No. 5 North Carolina (2/24) in FAU's season-opening series... Went 2-for-7 later that week, playing in all four games against Eastern Michigan (Feb. 28-March 2)... Homered in back-to-back starts in late March, going 5-for-7 with six RBI in a three-game span to raise his average to .348... Hit a solo homer in a Sunday start at first base at Louisiana-Monroe (3/30)... Hit another solo homer the next weekend as the DH in the series-opener at South Alabama (4/4)... Hit four homers in 50 official at-bats... Used twice in late May as a relief pitcher... Gave up two hits and two runs in his collegiate pitching debut vs. Arkansas State (5/9)... Got an important out vs. Florida International (5/17) in FAU's regular-season finale.
As a freshman (2007): Appeared in 25 games, with 11 starts... Hit a grand slam in his first collegiate at-bat... Had first multi-hit game going 2-for-5 against Troy... Hit .500 with runners in scoring position for the year.
High School: Played for Joe Giummule at Coral Glades High School... As a junior he earned all-county honors, team's hitter of the year and was the Florida Home Run Derby Champion...
