Michael Borriello is in his fourth season as part of the FAU baseball staff, and, ahead of the 2021 season, has been named director of analytics and data strategy

Borriello reports to the coaching staff on implementing the staff's analytical direction. He coordinates data-based baseball analytics and technology efforts, including, but not limited to, Rapsodo devices and Synergy scouting software.

Additionally, Borriello works with the coaching staff on compiling and interpreting baseball performance analytics on internal players and opponents. He also assists FAU players in understanding and utilizing advanced metrics.

Borriello graduated cum laude from FAU with a BS in management: leadership and supervisor skills. He is currently enrolled in the nationally-renowned MBA in sport management program with the expectation to graduate in 2022.
