Gunnar Lambert joined the FAU baseball staff in the role of graduate manager following his five-year playing career with the Owls.
Lambert wrapped his playing career as a captain of the 2019 Conference USA regular season title-winning Owls’ squad. Over his career, he appeared in 157 games, getting on base at a clip of .388, and amassing 18 home runs and 65 RBI. His junior year, he had a 30-game streak successfully reaching base and was a C-USA All-Tournament Team member. Playing both catcher and first base in his career, he finished eighth on the program’s all-time list in fielding percentage (.991) and seventh with 935 putouts.

The Oviedo, Floirda native will soon have two degrees, both coming from FAU. He graduated in 2018 with a major in health administration and minor in info systems, and received his Master’s in health administration through the acclaimed FAU business program in May of 2020.
