As a senior (2008): Emerged as one of FAU's team leaders as a fifth-year senior... Hit .345 and drove in 36 runs... Played excellent defensively, allowing just one passed ball in 53 games... Made 39 starts... Hit .321 with RISP and ripped left-handed pitching at a rate of .468 (22-of-47)... Capped off the season and his collegiate career by being named an all-tournament player at the Sun Belt Conference Championship in Lafayette, Louisiana (May 21-25)... Equaled a 30-year SBC Championship record by driving in 12 runs... Homered in three straight post season games- all FAU victories... First going 4-for-5 with a grand slam and five RBI vs. Middle Tennessee State (5/22)... Hit a three-run homer and ended two opposing rallies by throwing out base runners to help FAU eliminate top-seeded Louisiana-Monroe (5/23) the next day... Proved to be one of the most productive offensive catchers in the Sun Belt Conference... Hit .361 during the SBC regular season... Drove in 18 runs and scored 24 times in 25 SBC games... Hit a game-winning walk-off home run in an early-season win over Monmouth (3/12)... Hit a pinch-hit three-run homer to assure FAU a victory over Western Kentucky (4/27)...Scored a season-high four runs vs. Arkansas State (5/10)... Finished the year on a 12-game hitting streak.
In 2007: Was hitting .370 with six RBI in nine games before redshirting due to injury.
Summer League (2006): Played for the Prairie Gravel in the Chicago Suburban Baseball League with FAU teammates Anthony Bradley and Michael Obradovich.
As a junior (2006): Started 39 games behind the plate and five in left field... Hit his first collegiate home run in the opening weekend against No. 19 Tennessee... 12 of his 24 RBI came with two outs... Had a season-high three hits and three RBI against Florida International on May 9... Also had three hits against Kennesaw State on May 18... Tallied 11 multiple hit and seven-multiple RBI games.
Summer League (2005): Played for the Prairie Gravel of the Chicago Suburban Baseball League that won the National Baseball Congress World Series... One of three FAU players on the squad... During the series he was second on the team with a .324 average, two doubles and eight RBI.
As a sophomore (2005): Season-high three hits came on opening day against Cincinnati Feb. 11... Had two RBI in that outing and again on Mar. 25 against Stetson... Threw out 24% of base stealers... Finished the season with nine multiple-hit and two multiple-RBI games... Hit .448 when leading off an inning.
JUCO: Played at Manatee Community College under Coach Hill... Named all-academic.
High School: Attended Taravella High School where he earned second-team all-state honors as a junior and all-county his final two seasons under Mike Moss.
