Bio
2019 (Senior)
- Closed his career tying for the all-time FAU record with 31 saves in just two seasons after totaling 16 in his senior campaign
- Ranked first in Conference USA and fifth overall in all of Division I in that category
- Became the program's first ever two-time national A-A honoree, as a Third Team NCBWA All-American recipient
- Also voted for the second straight year as First Team All-C-USA
- Preseason and Midseason Watch List member for the NCBWA Stopper of the Year Award
- Signed as a free agent by the Boston Red Sox and immediately notched a save in his first professional outing
- Evolved into a multi-inning stopper this year for the Owls, with 11 outings spanning more than three outs
- That included six scoreless innings against FIU at home and five shutout innings on the road at Charlotte
- Overall, was 5-3 with a 3.16 ERA, which lowered to 2.83 in relief outings only, and 2.54 (with eight saves) against league opponents
- Posted a 28:11 K:BB ratio in C-USA play, and 52:17 for the entire season
- Earned saves in his final two outings, in the C-USA Championship versus UTSA, and at the NCAA Athens Regional against Mercer
- Had been recognized in the preseason as Collegiate Baseball Second Team All-American, NCBWA Third Team All-American and Preseason All-C-USA
2018 (Junior)
- Extremely successful in his debut year with the squad, taking on the role of closer and earning the following honors: NCBWA Second Team All-American, First Team All-Region by ABCA/Rawlings, and First Team All-Conference USA
- Led the league and was No. 7 in Division I with 15 saves, in addition to a 7-1 record and a 2.61 ERA
- That save total is the second highest single-season mark in program history and already places Schneider third on the all-time career list
- His seven wins ranked third on the team and sixth in C-USA
- Did not allow an earned run in his first nine outings, and in 17 of his first 18 appearances
- Sported a spotless 0.00 ERA against C-USA foes, with five saves in 10 games, and eight strikeouts in 12 innings pitched
- In 23 relief appearances, he pitched to a 2.08 ERA, allowing zero earned runs in 20 outings, and only one ER in another
- Picked up the win against No. 1 Florida in the Gainesville Regional
- In his first collegiate start, he threw a season-high five innings, limiting the Gators to just three runs while striking out five, another best on the year

- Played at Polk State College under coach Al Corbeil
- Named All-Conference and Team MVP in 2017
- Had a team-low 1.19 ERA, going 5-1 with 11 saves
- In 28 games pitched, held opposing hitters to a .184 average and walked just six versus 42 strikeouts, in 45 1/3 innings
