- Added a solo tackle int he Owls' season opening win over Monmouth
- Tallied three solo tackles versus Clemson
- Recorded four tackles in a strong LB rotation at Illinois
- Continues to gain more and more playing time and recorded six tackles, including one for a loss and he added a QBH in the Owls' 20-17 victory over Tulsa
- Was second on the squad with seven tackles, which included a five yard sack and a half tackle for a loss all totaling six yards, in the Owls' USF win
- Ended his UTSA contest with three solo tackles and a forced fumble
- Night ended in the first quarter with a tackle assist at Charlotte
- At UAB, drew his second started at nickle and worked the majority of the game at that position, recording eight tackles, including 1.5 for a loss of four yards
- Led the Owls with eight tackles, including 3.5 for a loss of 9 yards versus ECU
- Ended his Tulane game with five tackles, all tackle assists, and was credited with one pass breakup
- Tallied seven tackles at Rice
- Earned fourth team All-AAC honors by Phil Steele's magazine as a nickle
- Made his collegiate debut with two tackle assists in the Owls 43-13 season opening win over Charlotte
- Tallied five tackles at Ohio

- For the second-consecutive week, both starts, led the Owls with 11 tackles, including seven solo, in a 24-17 win over UAB
- Set the tone with an INT and 18-yard return on the first play of the 2022 Shula Bowl and continued a massive night with a total of four solo tackles, two for a loss of nine yards and a quarterback hurry
- Battled illness all week, limiting playing time; however he was credited with two tackles at Middle Tennessee
- Led not only the Owls but the game with a career high 13 tackles, including one for a loss of a yard versus WKU and added a pass breakup
- Received C-USA All-Freshman team (LB) honors
- Led Palmetto as a senior with 124 tackles (including 71 solo), and 35 went for a loss
- Also added 4.5 sacks, two interceptions, one pass defended, two forced fumbles and blocked three punts.
- Recorded 126 stops as a junior, 30 for loss
- Additionally that season, picked off three passes (returning two for scores and had a total of 110 INT return yards) and blocked one punt and two field goals
- And as a sophomore had 17 TFL, including 2.0 sacks, among his 82 total tackles
- Also was courted by SMU, USF, Toledo, and Colorado State, among others
- Ranked as the No. 4 recruit in the Sarasota Herald-Tribune coverage area
- His brother LaJohntay is a current Owl, a rising junior wideout that has played two seasons with the squad
