Owls Enjoy 2026 Duffy’s Fan Fest

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic welcomed the 2026 incoming freshmen student-athletes – the largest freshmen class in school history – ready to challenge for conference championships, as well as coaches and the Boca Raton community, to the second annual Duffy's Sports Grill Fan Fest at Flagler Credit Union Stadium on Saturday evening.

Everyone was entertained at the Publix Paradise Plaza area outside Gates 1 and 2, the site of a concert by the Mixtape Kids, a 90s tribute band. There were also concessions, games, inflatables for the kids and an autograph session featuring 10 Owl teams held on both the Owl Perch and on the Hyundai Deck inside Flagler Credit Union Stadium.
Stadium guests were treated to performances from the FAU Marching Band, as well as the cheer and dance teams, along with remarks from campus leaders such a President Adam Hasner and Vice President and Director of Athletics Josh McCowan. The 2026 FAU football team was also featured.
The night was capped by a spectacular lighted drone show just after sunset.

Owls Pregame Live, the newly created pregame concert series, will be held this fall at each FAU home game outside of the stadium. Homegrown, a Zac Brown tribute band, is set for the home opener on Sept. 12 when FAU hosts Navy. For more information on Owls Pregame Live, visit FAUSports.com/OPL.
