Pads off with Damon Allen

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic football sophomore DB Damon Allen is featured in this week's Pads Off, a segment hosted by Frank Forte where they talk anything but football. Find out his favorite holiday, the sport he first fell in love with and much more.
Allen joined the Owls in 2025 after a stellar prep career at West Boca Raton High School. In his first collegiate campaign, Allen saw time on both special teams and as part of the Owls' defensive unit. The Belle Glade, Florida native saw action in 11 games and totaled 24 tackles, including 2.5 for a loss of 24 yards with 0.5 credited as a sack and loss of three yards. Allen also recorded a PBU and a QBH.
Pads Off is also included in "Inside the Owls' Burrow" the team's weekly show airing each Thursday throughout the season on the Spot. The Spot, South Florida 39 (WSFL-TV), will air the show weekly on Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. ET in the Miami-Ft. Lauderdale DMA with replays running to be determined. The Spot, South Florida 9 (WHDT-TV), will air the show on Thursday at 6 p.m. ET in the West Palm Beach-Fort Pierce DMA with replays to be determined.
