BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic softball team wrapped up its 2026 regular season on Saturday at Joan Joyce Field at FAU Softball Stadium, setting several attendance records over the course of the 25-game slate.
14,057 fans attended Owl home games in '26, setting the program's single-season record. The average of 562 per game is also the highest in school history.
In the past month, the single-game attendance record at FAU Softball Stadium was achieved twice, first on April 15 against FIU with a crowd of 892 followed by April 30 with 907 on hand to watch Florida Atlantic's 5-4 victory over UAB.
The outings against the Blazers saw a total attendance of 2,446, FAU's highest in a three-game home series.
After a program-best 13-0 start at home, the Owls finished 21-4 on Joan Joyce Field, their best win percentage since 2004, the second highest in school history, and least amount of losses recorded in a calendar year. The home slate included marquee wins over Indiana, Ohio State, Wisconsin, and Kansas.
The Hometown advantage has powered the Owls to a 33-19 record. Since joining the American Conference in 2024, Florida Atlantic is the only team in the league to have recorded 30+ wins in each of the past three seasons as well to finish in the top four of the regular season standings.
Under Head Coach
Jordan Clark's four-year tenure, the Owls have recorded an 89-26 record at home. Notable moments achieved at home during her career include the team clinching its first of two straight American Conference titles in 2024 as well as her 100th win in March of 2025 and 150th victory on April 19, 2026.
Florida Atlantic enters the 2026 American Conference Championship in Greenville, N.C. as the No. 4 seed and will play Thursday at noon on ESPN+.
