Patten Earns American Honorable Mention

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic junior outfielder Brett Patten has been named an American Conference weekly honorable mention. Patten is the sixth Owl this season to earn an honorable mention nod.
Patten went 6-for-12 last week, highlighted by a three-hit day on Sunday against South Florida. The New Jersey native made three starts in right field, drove in three runs, and scored four. He doubled twice and stole a base.
Florida Atlantic baseball went 3-1 against Florida Gulf Coast and USF. The Owls return home for another in-state matchup against UCF on Tuesday at 6:35 p.m.
