Romano Earns American Conference Honorable Mention

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic baseball third baseman Nick Romano has been named an American Conference weekly honorable mention, the conference announced on Monday.
Romano played a key role in the Owls' three-game sweep of Villanova. He launched his second home run of the season in Saturday's 11-5 win. The redshirt senior finished the four-game week 8-for-14 at the plate with six RBI and five runs scored. Through 11 games, Romano is hitting .375 and leads the Owls with two home runs and eight RBI.
Next up for the Owls is a trip to Gainesville on Tuesday to face No. 9 Florida. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. on SEC Network+.
