Owls Kick Off Spring Season at Sea Best Invitational

ATLANTIC BEACH, Fla. – Florida Atlantic men's golf will compete in its first event of the spring, beginning Monday at the Sea Best Invitational hosted by Jacksonville University. The two-day, 54-hole event consists of 36 holes on Monday and 18 on Tuesday. This is the first of six tournaments for the Owls this spring, leading up to the American Conference Championship in April.
The Lineup
The Owls will pick up where they left off in the fall, opting for the same lineup they used in each of the four fall events. NaShawn Tyson will lead off followed by freshman Louka Morin. Biagio Gagliardi, Kaleb Palm, and Guilherme Grinberg will round out the starting five. Sophomore Christian Veilleux will compete as an individual. Monday's first round will begin with a shotgun start at noon.
The Course
Atlantic Beach Country Club will play as a par 71 at 6,860 yards.
The Field
This week's field will feature 14 teams and 89 individuals.
