BOCA RATON, Fla. – Inside the Owls' Burrow, the official weekly television show for Florida Atlantic Athletics, will air episode 10 of season 11 this week on Thursday, Oct. 22. Every 30-minute show this season will air on The Spot stations in the South Florida market.
The Spot, South Florida 39 (WSFL-TV), will air the show weekly on Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. ET in the Miami-Ft. Lauderdale DMA with replays running to be determined. The Spot, South Florida 9 (WHDT-TV), will air the show on Thursday at 6 p.m. ET in the West Palm Beach-Fort Pierce DMA with replays to be determined.
Inside the Owls' Burrow is hosted and produced by Frank Forte and covers FAU sports, featuring player profiles, coach interviews and behind-the-scenes access to all varsity teams. Inside the Owls' Burrow is produced in collaboration with Florida Atlantic Sports Properties (Playfly Sports).
In this week's sit-down, Forte and Hagerty Family Head Football Coach Zach Kittley will talk option football after facing Army, a traditional option team, last Saturday and the third option team in Rice this week. While the Owls have faced all three American option teams this season, all have a much different approach and present different nuances for FAU's defense. The Rice game is scheduled for 12 p.m. Saturday, the final day of 2026 Homecoming and the game will air on ESPNU.
Forte will talk to graduate LB Zyere Horton in "Pads Off" and cover senior DB Bo Simpson-Nealy, who continues to make the most of every opportunity. Plus, the personal story of graduate TE AJ Johnson will be highlighted in "Football in Paradise."
Those outside of the Miami and West Palm TV markets can watch the show on FAUSports.com or the FAU Athletics YouTube channel.
