BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic men's and women's swimming & diving team continue to excel in the classroom at a high level under Head Coach
Lara Preacco and staff.
This is ninth consecutive semester that both the women's and men's teams were named to the Scholar All-America team by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for the fall of 2025 semester.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
In order to be named to CSCAA Scholar All-America honors, a team must be a CSCAA member and achieve a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.0 for the semester of Fall 2024. In total, 781 teams from 459 institutions were selected by the CSCAA as a Scholar All-American member.
For the fall semester, the Owl women tallied a GPA of 3.57, with the men closely behind by recording a 3.32 GPA.
25 student athletes on the women side recorded a GPA of over 3.0.
Cica Carvalho,
Ella Freeman,
Ludo Pavia, and
Amelia Robertson scored perfect 4.0 GPAs making the President's List.
For the men, 21 individuals had GPAs of 3.0 or higher, with
Gianni Carlino and
Brody Singley honored on the President's List for their 4.0 GPA achievement.

ON DECK
The Owls will return to the FAU Aquatic Center on Saturday, Jan. 31 as they get set to wrap up regular season competition with a dual meet versus FIU's women's team. Meet action will begin at 10 a.m.
