BOCA RATON, Fla. – Two members of the Florida Atlantic softball team, senior pitcher
Autumn Courtney and third baseman
Jesiana Mora, have made D1Softball's Preseason D100 Player Rankings. Courtney checks in at No. 35 while Mora is No. 69.
After playing integral parts in the Owls' second consecutive American Conference regular season title and NCAA Regional appearance in 2025, the duo each make their debut on the annual list that denotes the top players in the country.
Courtney is coming off her All-American 2025 season that saw her also unanimously win the American Conference's Pitcher of the Year award. Additionally, she earned a spot on the league's All-Tournament team. The Tappahannock, Virginia native led the conference with 24 wins (14th most in the nation) while holding opponents to just a .164 batting average and delivering 172 strikeouts. Her ERA of 2.03 ranked 32nd nationally, while her strikeouts ranked 31st.
Mora, the reigning American Conference defensive player of the year, tallied a .982 fielding percentage. Offensively, she led the Owls with 68 hits, eight of them going for home runs, on her way to All-Conference second team.
The 2026 Florida Atlantic softball season begins on Thursday, Feb. 5, hosting the Paradise Classic.
