Millan Signs Professional Contract

KALISPELL, Mont. – Former Florida Atlantic first baseman Jake Millan has signed a professional contract with the Glacier Range Riders of the Independent Pioneer League.

Millan played 135 games in his four-year FAU career, finishing with 21 home runs and 75 RBI. The native of Springbrook, Pa. had his best campaign in 2025 as a senior starting 51 games at first base and racking up 10 homers and 44 RBI.

Millan is already off to a fast start with the Range Rangers. In his first six games, he's 10-for-26 at the plate with two home runs, three doubles, and six RBI. Â

Millan is the 19th former Owl to be signed to an active professional contract. Since John McCormack took the helm as head coach in 2009, 111 players have continued their careers at the professional level.Â
