BOCA RATON, Fla – The Florida Atlantic softball team, led by Head Coach Jordan Clark, has brought in two more players from the transfer portal to complete its 2026 roster.
Both players arrive from programs that qualified for the NCAA Regionals in 2025, joining the Owls that finished with a 45-12 record and won their second consecutive American Athletic Conference title on the way to their first NCAA Tournament victory since 2016.
INCOMING TRANSFERS
Lily Holtje | C/1B | Sophomore | Lutz, Fla.
Holtje was previously at Arizona State, where she made 20 starts in 45 appearances in her freshman campaign. It took her just four games into her freshman season to launch her first career home run, a go-ahead shot that propelled the Sun Devils to victory over nationally ranked California. She finished the season third on the team in homers with six.
Head Coach Jordan Clark
"Lily is a big-time recruit who has the ability to hit for power and make an immediate impact in the middle of the order. Her time playing in the Big 12 will bring a different level of experience that will challenge others around her. She has the ability to catch and play first base which are two spots that we felt she could help us. We are excited to have Lily for three seasons to watch her develop in our system."
Hannah Rivers | INF | Sophomore | Orange Park, Fla.
Rivers completed her freshman season with Mercer as the starting second baseman for a Bears team that made its first NCAA Regional appearance in program history, picking up two wins before falling to Florida in the final. Playing in 51 games with 43 starts, she tallied 37 hits on a .316 average to go with five home runs and 35 RBI. Rivers also led the team in triples with three. She was named to the Southern Conference's All-Freshman Team.
Head Coach Jordan Clark
"Hannah brings postseason and conference championship-winning experience. She is an elite competitor that contributed right away as a freshman. Her experience will allow her to jump in and help us compete at a high level. She loves the game and attention to detail on both sides of the ball. We are excited to work with her and grow her toolbox to the next level."
