BOCA RATON, Fla – The Florida Atlantic softball team has added three additions to its roster from the transfer portal following the conclusion of the 2025 campaign.
In Head Coach Jordan Clark's third season, the Owls finished with a 45-12 record, their most wins since 2016 and achieved their second consecutive American Athletic Conference regular season title. The season concluded at the Gainesville Regionals, where FAU recorded its first NCAA Tournament win in almost a decade.
All three transfers come from a Division I program in which they contributed in a significant starting role.
INCOMING TRANSFERS
Karson Davey | UTL | | Junior | Montgomery, Ill.
Coming from Eastern Illinois, Davey was named First Team All-Ohio Valley Conference in 2025 after a Second-Team selection in 2024, in addition to being a member of the OVC All-Newcomer Team. She owns a .291 career batting average through 110 games and has tallied 92 hits. Davey's baserunning ability has seen her steal a bag 23 times in 27 attempts.
Head Coach Jordan Clark
"Karson is extremely athletic and can play multiple positions. She is a middle infielder by trade, but found herself in centerfield this season for ElU. She comes with postseason experience, competing at the Texas Regional this spring. She is a winner who is competitive and a student of the game. Karson will compete right away and make us better in many different areas."
Madison Inscoe | RHP/1B | Senior | Chesapeake, Va.
The two-way Inscoe, in three seasons with NC State, has played in 107 career games with 64 appearances in the pitching circle, also making starts at first base and designated player. Her 2025 season saw her pitch a 2.60 ERA with four complete games in five starts. At the plate, Inscoe saw success in 2024 with a .313 batting average for 25 hits while launching two home runs. Inscoe is a two-time member of the All-ACC Team and has earned CSC Academic All-District and Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors.
Head Coach Jordan Clark
"Madison is a game changer for us having the ability to both pitch and hit. She is our first two-way player since Trinity Schlotterbeck and has the ability to leave her mark on both sides of the ball. In the first conversation with Madison, it was evident that her faith was extremely important to her and the ability to help grow a program. Her smile lights up the room but the ability to throw a changeup or dropball in any count will get the Owl fans excited to see her. I am excited to see how Madison can help take us to the next level!"
McKenna "Jojo" Mulholland | INF | Graduate | Oviedo, Fla.
Mulholland arrives after four seasons at Ball State. She was named Second Team All-MAC in both 2023 and 2024, as well as the conference's All-Tournament team in '24. Mulholland has made 153 career starts, significant time at both shortstop and second base, and has 116 career hits on a batting average of .284. Academically, she is a two-time member of the CSC All-District Team, three-time Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete, and three-time Academic All-MAC.
Head Coach Jordan Clark
"Jojo is an all-conference selection and team captain coming from Ball State. She brings leadership, passion, and high game IQ. In the first conversation with Jojo, I knew she was the perfect fit for our program. Her larger than life personality and passion for people is something that stands out quickly. I couldn't be prouder that we get to bring this Florida girl home for her final year."
