BOCA RATON, Fla. – Coming off a three-game series sweep in which she helped set multiple program records,
Jesiana Mora of the No. 24 Florida Atlantic softball team has received a weekly honorable mention from the American Athletic Conference.
This marks the junior third baseman's second consecutive honorable mention and her fourth conference accolade for the 2025 season. Mora led the way offensively for the Owls (41-9, 20-4) in their series sweep over Memphis in which they outscored the Tigers 41-5.
Mora finished the series batting 8-for-10 with seven runs, a double, triple, home run, two walks, and four RBI. She went 7-for-7 in the first two games on the way to hitting a cycle for the series. In Friday's 24-2 victory, in which the Owls set the program record for runs in a game, she tied a single-game program record for individual runs with five. On Saturday, she went 4-for-4 to tie another single-game program record, this time for hits in a game by an Owl.
Also over the weekend, Mora took the team lead in hits, now at 61 this season, and leads in home runs (eight) and runs (48) as well as doubles with 12. She also added two stolen bases for a team-high 16 on the year.

The Owls are a game away from clinching back-to-back AAC regular season championships with a weekend series on the road against Tulsa from May 1 to 4. The AAC Tournament takes place in Tampa, Florida, from May 7 through 10.
