Duer Earns AAC Weekly Honorable Mention

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic junior outfielder Jake Duer has been named to the AAC's Weekly Honorable Mention list, the league announced on Monday.

The native of Flower Mound, Texas, has played a vital role in the Owls' 6-1 start to the season. Last Tuesday against Miami, he sparked a seventh-inning rally with a leadoff double and eventually scored the tying run. He had back-to-back four-hit games over the weekend against UConn on Friday and Saturday. He finished the series 10-for-14 at the plate. Duer currently leads all of Division I with 17 hits.

Florida Atlantic baseball's next action will be Tuesday at UCF. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. The Owls return home to start a three-game series with Fordham on Friday.
