BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic senior
Jake Millan has been named AAC Player of the Week, the league announced on Monday. He is the first Owl hitter to win Player of the Week since Nolan Schanuel in April 2023.
Millan was a force to be reckoned with at the plate in the Owls' three-game sweep of Delaware. His 7-for-12 series line included a home run, four doubles, seven RBI, and seven runs scored.
Sophomore
Trey Beard also found his way onto the AAC release as an Honorable Mention. Beard struck out 10 Delaware hitters in just four innings on Friday night. He walked one and conceded three hits in the Owls' 9-4 victory.
