The team's leading scorer, sophomore Kaleb Glenn, once again provided a spark plug off the bench with nine points on 4-for-5 shooting.
FAU leaned on their inside game, with 19 of their 35 points coming from the paint. Redshirt junior forward Tre Carroll was active on the defensive end, with five rebounds and three blocks coming in the opening frame. Florida Atlantic entered the locker room trailing 38-35.
Florida Atlantic's comeback came full circle when Walker drove to the hoop and drew the foul for the three-point play to bring the score to one point. He then intercepted an errant Temple pass and drove to the hoop to give the team a 76-75 lead with under two minutes remaining. A driving layup by Glenn and five free throws from FAU sealed the win, not allowing a shot on their final defensive possession.
