BOCA RATON, Fla. – The 2026-27 Florida Atlantic men's and women's basketball teams were showcased on Wednesday night at the sixth annual Paradise Madness, sponsored by Habit Burger & Grill.

The new-look squads, led by men's Head Coach John Jakus and women's Head Coach LeAnn Freeland, were introduced to fans for the first time on Abessinio Court at the Eleanor R. Baldwin Arena.

Among the winners in the on-court competitions were Jaelynn Housey in the women's skills challenge (defeating Mani Piljevic in the finals by a 40-37 score); Team Wavy – made up of Skyla Tuthill, Felipe Quinones and FAU student Blake Stuba – by a 26-20 score over Team Sunset in the 3-point shootout; and in the men's scrimmage that ended the night's festivities, Team Paradise topped Team Owls, 43-37.
