BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic softball held a ring ceremony on Saturday, Feb. 8 to honor their 2024 conference championship team.
Head Coach
Jordan Clark welcomed back Owl alumni who were part of the one of the most successful teams in program history, a season in which they won the American Athletic Conference regular season championship and made their first NCAA regional appearance since 2018. Also in attendance was family, friends of the program, and administration who provided support to the champions.
Championship rings were presented to each of the players as they were honored for their accomplishments.
The ceremony was held during the weekend of the Paradise Classic, a seven-team tournament hosted by FAU in which the Owls rolled through the four days with a 6-0 record to begin their season, including wins over SEC Ole Miss, Big 12 Kansas, and the nationally ranked ACC Clemson.
Alums from the team were in attendance for the game held later in the night, an 11-0 victory over Missouri State which featured a no-hitter from senior pitcher
Gabby Sacco. They were honored further by receiving the opportunity to throw out the game's first ceremonial first pitch.
