BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic softball, the back-to-back regular season champions of the American Conference, has announced its 2026 schedule, beginning in February.
The Owls will embark on their quest for a third consecutive championship in three seasons as members of the American. Under Head Coach
Jordan Clark, FAU will also be seeking its third straight NCAA Regional bid.
In 2025, Florida Atlantic won 45 games, its most since 2016, and achieved a victory over Georgia Tech in the Gainesville Regional. The Owls will look to build off their success in '26 with a 53-game slate that includes nine games against power conference opponents.
QUOTE FROM COACH CLARK
"This schedule is both challenging but rewarding that we are getting the opportunity to play several of the best teams in the country as well as conference winners. We talk about if you want to be the best, you have to play the best and this schedule is definitely going to test us in some different ways. The goal in putting together our schedule is to give us the best opportunity to feel prepared for conference play to make a run at the end of the season. We are veteran-heavy on our roster and feel we need to continue moving our program to new heights nationally, so we wanted to challenge ourselves early and see what we are made of. I am excited to see this group compete and show Owl fans some new faces on this year's roster!"
