BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic men's and women's swimming and diving teams wrapped up tri-meet competition against the Miami women's team and Cincinnati on a rainy Monday afternoon.

The women's team finished third, competing against a tough Hurricanes and Bearcats team while the men took the victory over the Bearcats by a score of 81.0-78.0.

Monday's meet offered athletes the opportunities to swim unorthodox events such as the 150 free, 200 back relay, 1400 free relay, and more.

On Tuesday, the men's diving team took on the University of Utah in a dive dual meet hosted by FIU at the Doral Aquatic Center. On the day, the Owls posted five top-5 finishes.

QUICK HITS
Women

The women began the day with a third-place finish in the 200 medley relay swimming 1:48.95.
The 50 back saw Megan Drover-Smith taking the win, swimming 28.56 and finishing third in the 150 back.
In the 200 breast relay, the tandem of Bilú Bianchi and Ludo Pavia finished second (2:00.83).
In the 200 free relay, the duo of Pavia and Talitha McEwan took third swimming 1:40.76.
McEwan also swam the 50 free taking home second (25.62).

Men

Jayden Repak and John Reese Taylor were victorious in the 200 breast relay swimming 1:45.50.
James Shevchenko earned the win in the 50 fly (23.86) and 150 fly (1:21.95).
The speedy duo of Daniel Laureyssens and Leyton Roe won the 200 free relay finishing in a time of 1:26.87.
Taylor then picked up the win in the 50 breast (26.36) and was second in the 150 breast (1:34.85).
Rush Clark and Shevchenko picked up an Owls' win in the 200 fly relay (1:34.87).
The men closed the meet with a traditional 200 free victory swimming 1:23.60.

TUESDAY DIVING

Rocco Simonelli led the Owls on the 1mtr diving with a second place finish, totaling a score of 282.95.
On the 3mtr diving, Miles Buchart was FAU's highest finisher, scoring 267.60 points.

ON DECK
The Owls will host the 'FAU Fun Invite' to close out the calendar year of 2025 on Saturday, Dec. 20 at FAU Aquatic Center. The meet begins at 10 a.m.
